Indegene acquires U.S.-based healthcare marketing agency Cult Health

Bengaluru-based Indegene Inc. a company that provides R&D and management services for pharmaceutical corporations has reportedly completed the acquisition of U.S.-based healthcare marketing agency CultHealth.

Although the financial parameters of this acquisition have not yet been released, analysts are of the opinion that the move was made to expand Indigenes commercialization portfolio as well as its manufacturing capabilities while simultaneously improving patient engagement platforms.

According to the CEO and Executive Director of Indegenes parent company Indegene Private Ltd., the acquisition would help in capitalizing on Cult Health’s nuanced expertise in connecting patients and physicians through an effective direct-to-customer (DTC) platform with an improved focus on therapeutic areas of oncology and diabetes. 

Furthermore, he asserted that CultHealths long-standing relationship with some of the most prominent life science companies in the industry space would be a welcome addition to Indigene’s growing business infrastructure.

Meanwhile, CEO and Partner of CultHealth, Jeff Rothstein, asserted that the company is thrilled to be a part of Indegene’s business operations. He asserted that their dual energies would play a pivotal role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of life sciences commercialization, thereby solidifying the future of healthcare.

For the uninitiated, Indegene is an emerging life commercialization company that aids leading biopharmaceutical and medical device companies in developing and bringing advanced products into the market. These products are known to be purpose-specific that aim to deliver a scalable, personalized, and omnichannel experience for both patients as well as physicians.

On the other hand, CultHealth is a full-time advertising and marketing agency that focuses on developing creative and innovative strategies to build profitable connections between healthcare marketer brands and their clients with the aid of mobile CRM programs, social media campaigns, and experiential marketing for patients as well as HCPs.
