SODA adds new solutions to its existing PowerSchool portfolio

New Mexico-based School of Dream Academy, or SODA, has recently announced the addition of new PowerSchool solutions to its existing system. These programs include PowerSchool Ecollect Forms, PowerSchool Unified Classroom® Special Programs, and PowerSchool Unified Talent.

Additionally, after years of implementing PowerSchool Enrollment, PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS), and Naviance by PowerSchool, SODA is expanding its unified solutions system to improve learning and instruction.

According to SODA’s Special Services Director, Paul Howard, having reliable data enables the company to make crucial decisions in educational programming, talent acquisition, and budgeting. Through the use of PowerSchool, the academy has been able to gain more access more learning, and accountability.

The school district has made use of PowerSchool Enrollment for over four years and has also utilized the PowerSchool Ecollect Forms, which is being used for diverse extracurricular and academic applications and is in its final stages of implementation. This is in addition to its use of PowerSchool SIS, which has been used by SODA for over ten years.

The school district is predicting a completely paperless system by fall, having reported significant savings as a result of decreased spending on paper, administrative staffing hours, and ink.

Craig Greenseid, PowerSchool’s Chief Revenue Officer, has expressed excitement at seeing SODA add more PowerSchool solutions to increase the time spent on education over administrative operations. He further expressed pride in supporting the academy with these complementary solutions designed to improve its existing educational and administrative processes.

For the uninitiated, the School of Dreams Academy is based in Los Lunas, New Mexico, and caters to over 550 students from Pre-K to 12th grade, across 36 on-campus buildings. As a state-authorized charter school with an Advanced Ed national accreditation, SODA has been recognized by authorities like, which ranks public and private educational establishments nationally, under the guidance of Carnegie Mellon University.
